Sunair has received an order from the Brazilian Commission for Aerospace Control (CISCEA) for Strategic HF Systems Upgrade across the three coastal cities of Belem, Recife, and Rio de Janeiro. The project is a follow up to Sunair’s participation Amazon Surveillance System SIVAM (Sistema de Vigilância da Amazônia), where it designed, supplied, and managed three remote ground-to-air SSB/ISB radio systems for air traffic control and surveillance with remote control access for monitoring the legal Amazon area.
As prime contractor, Sunair and its local representative Isofreq Telecomunicacoes E Sistemas Ltda. is collaborating with S.I.T.T.I. S.p.A. and FREQUENTIS AG to provide a turnkey communications solution featuring its T-5000A 5kW and T-10000A 10kW solid-state amplifiers for full hemispheric coverage.
